The Story of Zenergy Balls

It All Starts With Intention

Zenergy was started with the intention of creating a continued contribution to community. Our values are to source high quality ingredients being sure that all of our ingredients are NON-GMO. Most of our ingredients are labeled organic. If they are not labeled organic, I have personally spoke with the manufacturers to be sure they are using methods free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Locally Sourced

We strive to source as locally as possible. For example, in one recipe we use Hazelnuts which are grown in Oregon and our hemp seed comes from Canada. We buy our ingredients from local wholesalers such as Hummingbird Wholesale and Glory Bee. The honey we use in one of the recipes comes from a local small business called Beetanical. Jason and Elizabeth at Beetanical pull our honey from a yard in North Eugene, ensuring it’s as local as we can get. As we grow, we will strive to create more products sourcing locally.

Locally Produced

We share space in a commercial kitchen in lovely downtown Eugene! We know how important it is to support local economy and that collectively we create greatness in the world. We do this by using artisanal methods to craft these delicious products and being sure our production area is extremely clean to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

Handrolled With Love

Collectively we set intentions and hold these loving thoughts through the production of these hand-crafted products. On any typical production day, we can be found dancing, laughing and creating joy as we produce products that we hope inspire people to do the same. We have the wonderful addition of yoga and meditation before production to add to creating a space of health, wellbeing and vitality.

Focus on Minimal and Zero Waste

This business was created to fit consumer values by offering low carbon foot-print products (minimal to no wasteful packaging), NON-GMO and organic ingredients. The idea that collectively we can eat nutritious food, give much needed attention to the environmental impact and support sustainable agriculture is achieved with these products. With the purchase of these products, collectively we create the world we want to live in. We are dedicated to low carbon footprint and minimal waste. Currently we recycle 98% of all the ‘waste’ we create in the business. By selling our products in bulk, using glass jars, we do not have wasteful packaging. This way we create a voice for the environment. It is our goal to generate zero waste, use renewable energy to manufacture our products and deliver our products locally using a bicycle and trailer.
